Abandoned Croft

Well it was a fine calm passage on the boat last night. Lerwick was a dull morning but got home and sunny in Scalloway, then overcast again with sunny spells.
My wee Sammy dog and cat Archie had fairly missed, even if it was just for a few days. Sammy got straight out for walkies first thing and then out west for a run in the afternoon. I'd heard my granny's old croft house had been pulled down and had to go investigate. I arrived in Unifirth and yes, wiped from the earth. A real shame to see it gone. Wish folk would renovate the old croft houses rather than pull them down or just leave them.
This old croft id Newton, a neighbour to my granny's croft. Another lovely old house left to return to nature. When I win the Euromillions, I'll renovate it and others and bring life back to them :)
