Two great days on the bounce? What gives?

They have been though. Maybe the beautiful blue skies and sunshine have had something to do with it?

Popped into the office this morning for a catch up with the team and to start laying the groundwork to ensure as minimal disruption as possible in my absence for a week at Easter. This is not as entirely altruistic as it sounds: I just don’t want to come back to loads of issues!

Returning home I got a few more things boxed off and managed to set up a conversation with my boss’s boss regarding the direction of travel of the business and my place within it (probably latrine duty). We’ll see how it goes…

With the aforementioned weather being so beautiful and not having had much time to be out in it, I took myself out for a wander this evening and headed up to the castle where the view under the setting sun was stunning. 

Great fun this evening with the arrival of my BIL and a proper session on Split Fiction. Through various iterations of the game we were cyber ninjas, shark surfers (totally lifted from Dune), troll dodgers, pigs and then finally hot dogs. Yes, we felt like we’d dropped something weird by the end of it too.

Tremendous fun though and love the co-operative nature of the game.
