Home From Home
The new bees had to move from the home they came in (on the right) to the home they will live in permanently (on the left). This was the first day it has been warm enough to do it. That also meant that it was the first time some of them had flown outside to orient themselves to how their hive looks in this new environment. I felt a little sorry for them that I changed everything and they had to start again, but they seemed charmingly content with the whole operation. I think we are going to get along. As so often, the queen was on the last frame I handled; of course you can see her!
