Trees and blue sky

More silhouetted trees today, but this time under a clear blue sky. It was rather chilly, but we went for a lovely circular walk from Ikley up onto Middleton Moor.
We spotted quite a few little lambs enjoying the sunshine, and they were not camera shy like their parents were - see extra.
On the way back we passed the site where Yorkshire water is currently constructing a huge storm tank (extra #2) by the River Wharfe to cope with periods of heavy rainfall. In recent years, there have been numerous overspills of sewage into the river when the treatment works have been unable to cope. Years of underinvestment in the treatment facilities have made this urgently necessary.
