Spring Flowers

Today has been quiet and peaceful. Little Man had nursery this morning so we got up, albeit later than normal, and headed out to nursery, by bike. Little Man loves going on rides on the back of mine.

I had a quiet morning at home. I was able to get some writing done in the Leuchtturm 1917 notebook that is my journal and I put dinner on in my beloved slow cooker. I cut up an apple and then headed back to the nursery to collect Little Man. He really enjoyed having something to eat whilst we walked home.

We had a lovely time at home. The weather was lovely, but the wind had a unpleasant and cold edge to it, which made it rather uncomfortable being outside for long. We had dinner and called my parents, who are safely back home on their plot of land on the banks of the River Nile. I think that the next time we'll see them is when they're coming back in August for my cousin's wedding.

The forecast for the next few days should be pretty good, which means that the flowers should be more visible!
