Drive by..

I frequently pass this stunning house and each time I do I can't help looking in through the gates. Today for the first time I stopped to take a photo so that I can share it with you all. It is one of the largest Jacobean houses in the country. And has one of the largest guard dogs (Alsatians) inside the inner gateway. You can see a dark lump.. unfortunately he was cutting a fine silhouette but by the time I had got my phone out for the picture he has lain down in the shade..Built in 1603 it still looks stunning.. I wonder what stories it could tell...
