Friends came for a slow lunch - moules marinières, brushetta, salad and cheeses. More friends arrived for tea and biscuits in the afternoon with an invitation to Saturday's annual street party. That is always good fun. It is useful having the blackboard in the sous-sol as it seems to keep visiting children occupied for hours!
