Rest in peace Ann

I attended Ann’s funeral online. It was held in Ireland. She was the mother of a boyfriend I had when I was a teenager. Over the years, she lost all of her 3 sons—the first took his own life aged 21. (I was 17 at that time)
No mother should ever have to bury a child, let alone all of them. It’s a grief that’s hard to fathom, a weight no one should have to carry. And yet, she did. With quiet strength and grace. I’ll always remember her for that. She’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
