My New Toy

This morning before the rain arrived I visited a Mobility Shop and bought this walker. When I visited my GP's the other day I asked her to refer me to Burwood hospital because my walking has become more difficult to do. The Neurologist specialist in the Public system wouldn't see me. Said I wasn't bad enough to get into the system and to have physio at Burwood hospital. I asked about a walker and my GP said it would be best to buy a light one as they wouldn't only give me a heavy one. 

I have been using a Elbow crutch for many years. It has become more difficult to walk recently and it was getting to the stage I couldn't walk far without having to keep stopping. 

This new toy is so light I can lift it with one finger. I did look at the other ones and I couldn't pick it up very well let alone try and get it in the car.

I meet my friend at the shop and she said she wants to get her husband one as she has so much trouble getting the one he has in the car. It is so heavy. We went to the Mall afterwards and I walked around the Mall with my new toy. I got around very well without being in so much pain. 

After a warm start to the day. By mid morning the rain started and it got windy and the temperature dropped. We haven't had a lot of rain, just enough to give the garden a water.
