Periwinkle ( Vinca minor )
Clickychick went to the village social club. I felt it wouldn't be fair to the speaker if I went I am still, to use a Cumbrian phrase "coughing like a sheep on turnips". I wandered out into the garden looking hopefully for something to blip.
I was surprised that I found quite a number of things round the garden and settled for this Periwinkle down in the woodland garden. It started out as a variegated variety but growing in shade it reverted as many variegated plants do, Sometimes you will see a variegated tree with a single green branch. If this isn't removed over time the whole tree will slowly swamp the variegated part and become plain.
