Minor injury

H had a school hockey tournament today but unfortunately only played the first two games. Luckily I happened to be walking past school when the minibus dropped them off so was able to carry his bag home before taking him to minor injuries where it was confirmed that his finger is fractured. Unfortunately that means 6 weeks out of hockey and cricket so he’ll miss the end of the indoor cricket league, start of the outdoor cricket season and the hockey regional finals.
I don’t expect they get many penguins in the x ray department here but this one was displayed in the waiting room.
