Pieris with bumble

I spent around an hour in the front garden this afternoon pruning a hydrangea and doing some general tidying. It was really cold and I had on a fleece and a padded jacket so was surprised to see a big bumblebee flying around, it must be very hardy. The Pieris shrubs are flowering at the moment so it made a bee-line for the blooms! My first bee blip of 2025.
