H is for HOME.....

…..and HOME is where the heart is! Our heart has been here for the last 6 weeks and we are so blessed to be able to use the lovely apartment owned by our son and daughter-in-law and of course, we have been very fortunate to have beautiful weather.

In the three years that we have been coming down here, we have made many friends and we often go to the Salvation Army on a Sunday, so we are able to continue worshipping with other Christians too, which is great.

BUT….. we have missed our other home, back in Wiltshire, and when I have seen blips of the English countryside, I realise that although I love being near the sea, I also love the rolling downs of Wiltshire, so in one sense, although I shall miss Dorset and the south coast, it will be good to be back.

So, we are looking forward to going home - seeing our family, finding out how the garden is doing, seeing our neighbours (who very kindly look after things whilst we are away), and going back to our own church - but we have had a great time and look forward to our next visit.
