Scabious

It's scabious time again, I love them but don't seem to be able to grow them at home.

In my hurry to put up a blip of Blencathra, I had forgotten about Friday. We had been up to Carlisle to buy more drawer liners from our lodge kitchen supplier.

On our way from there we called in at Dobbies for a blip and coffee. We were too late for the half-price cream scones. Shame!  Dobbies hadn't as much colour in yet as Houghton Hall but I was pleased to find "Pink Most".
