24 Bee Hives

One of my nephews is an apiarist and the honey his bees produce is certified organic.  He asked me if he could overwinter a number of beehives here on the farm in return for some honey so of course I said 'Yes'.  Twenty four hives arrived early yesterday morning after a three and a half hour trip in the middle of the night from the Marlborough Sounds.
