It Says It All

……….. I’m going through a bit of a bad patch again for the last few days, so not much enthusiasm for photos :-(

I have been looking everywhere for something that I was sure I knew where it was and it wasn’t where I thought it was when I looked.
Recently the zip broke on my purse - it’s really old, so I’m not all that surprised - when I first bought it, I thought it was perfect for my needs so I actually bought a second one at the time and stored it away for when this one eventually broke. That was probably at least fifteen years ago, so it’s done really well ………. but can I find the replacement one I stored - of course not, grrrr.
Anyway, yesterday I decided to look in some of the boxes stashed under our super king size bed. One thing lead to another and I ended up sorting through all the boxes to get rid of anything unwanted ( which, in the end, meant most of it ).
I’m ashamed to say the boxes have probably not moved for almost twenty years, so the dust was very thick - but it’s now all been cleaned under there and I was exhausted yesterday.
I spent most of today, sorting what needs to go to the charity shop, dump, recycling and shredding and I now have several large bags to be dealt with.

I didn’t have any intention of doing it before I started but just got carried away ………. mind you, it’s probably the best way for me to do anything because if I had thought about and planned to do it I probably would have bailed out of such an unpleasant task at the last minute - so being uncharacteristically spontaneous has done me a favour this time ;-)

Today’s blip is a little plastic badge that came on a birthday card given to me by my cheeky children when I was in my late thirties - but it was very apt today :-/
