The Journey Begins

I decided today I would commence preparing our hallway for painting as the weather was quite showery. The benefit of the weather was not only that it drove me indoors but the humidity reduces (ever so slightly) the dust from the lime render.

Our old house tends to move a little, especially as a result of three large trees that were nearby but these have now gone so hopefully the house will stabilise.

Restoring a room is a bit like a journey, so this journey has begun.

I read an article about square photos so decided I would try one.
