SAIL ROUND

This is Holgate Windmill in York.
Recently restored, it is now open to the public. Built in 1770 it is paired with Skidby Mill, in East Yorkshire, as the only two working windmills in Yorkshire.
It has five double-shuttered sails and produces stoneground flour for sale. Use this to find out more.
However the really special feature here is that the mill sits in the middle of a roundabout !
