Primrose Steps

It's been a nice day and didn't feel so cold as it has. I decided I'd give the grass a cut and started the suburban Sunday rumble. I'm sure you'll know it. A lawn mower starts up, then you hear another one, then one more from a different direction and so on. On my way to the compost I noticed that the primroses were looking good up the steps. They've gradually been expanding their territory up this passage so I thought I'd take a picture.

You might notice a little face at the top beside the compost bin. It's not Cato, it's a pottery cat that one of the girls made thirty or so years ago.
