First bloom

I have also backblipped yesterday's Just beginning to open .... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)

Very different weather from yesterday ..... started with a hard frost again .... then we had sunshine for about 30 minutes! 
Unfortunately the rain then set in & it has been damp all day!

As you can see the first flower has opened on the Camellia ... I managed to get this photo before the sun disappeared ..... good thing I didn't wait!

Lovely to see it begin to flower .... there are lots of buds so I hope they open soon too :-)

Extra ~ the chrysalis is still there on the curtain .... thankfully it has survived all the upheaval recently!
