Sunny summerhouse

Still exhausted today, but I'd said I was going to start painting the inside of the summerhouse, so I did.  Actually felt OK while I was doing it, too - though totally knackered afterwards, so did very little else.  It's definitely going to need a second coat (and I have many, many more panels to paint!), but it's good to have made a start on bringing a bit of sunshine inside :)

We received the quote today from the builder who came to look at various jobs for us recently.  Bits of it seem quite reasonable, but a couple of things are waaaay more expensive than we'd hoped, and the total estimate is eye-watering.  Some re-thinking to do....

Tim cooked us a delicious curry in the evening, and we had a consoling glass of wine.
