Gent

Train to Gent, our next stop on the mini tour of Belgium.  Unable to check-in (too early) so we dropped the bags off and went exploring.  One of the first things you notice about Gent is just how quiet it is.  There are almost no cars or buses to be seen or heard.  Bikes everywhere, and trams, and people, but very few motorised forms of transport.  Lots of interesting building to look at.  
The photo is of the Gent Altarpiece, or 'The lamb of God' in St Bavo's Cathedral.  Painted by two brothers and completed in 1432.  A few extras too.
