Rain

A rainy Oregon Saturday. That’s ok, as that’s what we’re known best for. We had some running around to do, so I dialed in the Bob Dylan channel on Pandora. I wasn’t disappointed, as we had a great playlist. I took this shot on a rainy back road between Independence and Salem. Here’s the playlist: Bob Dylan, “Desolation Row,” “Buckets of Rain,” “Shelter From the Storm,” and “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right;” Pink Floyd, “Fearless,” and “Breathe (In the Air);” Grateful Dead, “Touch of Grey,” and “Ripple;” The Beatles, “Mother Nature’s Son,” “Blackbird,” and “I’ve Just Seen a Face;” Blind Faith, “Can’t Find My Way Home;” Neil Young, “Harvest Moon” and “Four Strong Winds;” Allman Brothers Band, “Melissa,” and “Little Martha;” Simon and Garfunkel, “The Sounds of Silence,” “Kathy’s Song,” and “The Only Living Boy In New York;” The Youngbloods, “Get Together;” Bonnie Raitt and John Prine, “Angel From Montgomery;” Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, “4 + 20;” John Prine, “Clay Pigeons;” George Harrison, “Give Me Love;” Tom Petty, “Learning to Fly,” and “Time to Move On;” Eddie Vedder, “Hard Sun;” Mark Knopfler, “Working On It;” and Pearl Jam, “Just Breathe.” A quality playlist.

We picked up Thai food takeout, and watching basketball tonight.

Here’s the most apt tune on this rainy Saturday, Dylan’s “Buckets of Rain.”
