Beaver Dam

We have moderate to severe drought conditions over the past few weeks. This is a photo of the beaver dam at the back of Wheatley Lake at Gilbert Run. Normally it is full of water. Today, the area of the dam is dry and overgrown with grass. I wonder where the beavers are. 
Thankfully, we are expecting a lot of rain and storms tomorrow.
