The other side

It was a gorgeous sunny day today and my mum and a friend came over because they wanted to walk across the Forth Road Bridge. And that is what we did. We set off late morning and walked across the Bridge. We arrived in North Queensferry at lunchtime and sat by the shore to eat our packed lunches. It was interesting to see the Rail Bridge from the other side! Once we'd eaten lunch we got a train back over the Rail Bridge back to Dalmeny and back to my house for a cuppa. A lovely wee outing and great to be outside on such a lovely sunny day.
