Repurposing real estate

Most of my work this past week has had to do with our plan to bring our bigger gas cooker ,which has been stored in our top building, down into our tiny kitchen. Today I did the swap only to discover that the under-hob area had been repurposed as a rodent maternity unit. Thankfully no evictions were necessary but I’ll have to replace some insulation. Unusually the residents didn’t bother to wreck the electrics! (The stuff in the wheelbarrow is what they’d crammed in under the hob).
