A nice pair of flares
Although we have kerbside recycling collections at home, I always keep back glass and take it to the bottle bank at the local rugby club as they can sell the glass and raise funds for the club. I took a bagful up there this morning and as the remainder of my day will involve mostly sitting on my backside watching the last three games of the Six Nations Championship (hence the early blip), I thought this mural on the clubhouse wall of the England player Ben Youngs, who started his career at Holt Rugby Club, was quite appropriate.
The shot was taken into the sun so there is a certain amount of flare. I was rather fascinated, however, by the blue bell shape which has appeared at the front. Clearly some sort of light distortion but I can't imagine how it happened. I rather like it though.
