2025 Monday — Back to the Coast
I had an appointment at the periodontist office early this afternoon for a very simple, very quick check-up; the appointment was supposed to be two weeks after my dental surgery, but because we leave for Southern California tomorrow my appointment was scheduled a few days early.
When my appointment was over, we stopped at Hobby Lobby for a fast look at their “yard art” aisle; that’s always fun.
Then my goal was to get back to the house so we could pack our things for tomorrow’s exit from here for our other house in Southern California. But our main focus was to be at the Morro Bay Veterinary office at 4:15 to get little Chloe. She had an abscessed tooth that needed to be removed and the vet was going to remove most of her other teeth as well. It was more than five years ago that our SoCal dog groomer told us that we should have all teeth removed on all of our dogs. She said they live quite well without their teeth. Now, I wish we had done that.
For dinner we ordered two “to go” burritos from Martin’s (pronounced mar-teens). I had no desire to cook. Then I packed my things and I packed the pups’ things for our eight night stay in SoCal, and went to bed early so we could leave at O-dark-thirty in the morning.
From California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
