This waiting room was in the Audiology place and Donald was fitted with hearing aids. 
We then went for a coffee in Soderbergs and then to Canopy for a delicious plate of soup. We've been there before, it's spacious, airy and has a bit of class to it. I would dearly have loved to have walked out with a few soup spoons, ergonomically they are the best. Unfortunately I don't pinch stuff.
As the day was still young and we'd had our lunch I had the bright idea of getting on the 23 bus and going to the Oxfam bookshop in Morningside. We took in a few more shops but I was knackered, carrying stuff and supporting Donald on his walking stick, and before we reached the crest of the homeward hill I caved and hailed a taxi that I spotted. Well, sometimes.....
