Pleading

Son#2 had a little friend round today and since having a village duck pond is something of a novelty for him we wandered round to harrass feed the ducks.

There is only one white one in tthe group of ducks and he is without doubt the cheekiest of the bunch when it comes to scrounging for bread.

In other news: after enjoying 3 weeks of relative leisure I'm getting back into the job search and have also gone through the arduous task of applying for Jobseekers allowance. Apparently I have to do it to keep my national insurance payments going even though I probably won't become eligible for the allowance itself. As a result I have to suffer the indignity of some government waller trawling through my finances and setting arbitrary targets for how many jobs I should apply for each week (regardless of whether they are appropriate or not)

Thankfully I have an interview for another job soon so with a bit of luck I won't have to put up with government bureaucracy for long
