Matt...our hero

About 45 minutes from our destination our truck overheated and told us to stop driving. 

That was a surprise since all fluids were checked during the last oil change.  Once we opened the hood it was obvious the coolant level was too low.

We called our niece to let her know and she was ready to come rescue us when this gentleman stopped and offered to help. 

Al thanked him and asked if he knew where we could get some coolant nearby.  He wasn't sure, but said he would go get some for us.  Al gave him some money and off he went.

After about 45 minutes we were wondering if we should call Katie again when suddenly he was back!

I don't know how far he had driven, but he then put the coolant in the truck for us, too.
It had been a beautiful breezy afternoon,  so the wait was really pleasant, and Matt made it even more so. 

He is definitely our hero tonight!!

Tomorrow I'll post the family we got to hang out with because Matt helped us get here.
