I assume this is a garden escape as it is just a single plant growing in local woodland and has been flowering there annually for around 10 years.

Here is a worm's-eye view of it this afternoon.

Fortunately, my camera has a fold-out viewing screen so only the camera had to get down to the worm's level.

Another bloom from the same plant is now in the 'extras'.
