Count your blessings

This sculpture in Dickens Yard, Ealing, uses a quote from a George Formby song, 'Count your blessings and smile'. The song is from the film 'Let George do it', made in Ealing Studios in 1940. I quite like the sentiment of 'count your blessings ' but I'm not keen on the line 'laugh at trouble'. I can't see that being a helpful thing to say to anyone experiencing troubled times, personally.
