'A Mood Enhancing Freebie'

After my early morning jog round the park, I almost always finish at our local supermarket, where I pick up the day's shopping and my free cup of coffee before walking home.

I usually go to the same assistant at the checkout, and yesterday, she was handing out bunches of daffs (apparently past their sell-by date but still unfurled) to her favourite customers - of which I am evidently one!

This is how they looked this morning - aren't they absolutely brilliant?
