Brent Geese

Today I had a lovely, if rather exhausting, day out.  It was also a bit surprising because although I went to Lymington to look at birds (of course) I spend rather a lot of time looking at plants too.  Being by the sea the balance of what you find, botanically speaking, is just a little bit different.

However, the headline of the day was definitely the brent geese, heading for the marshes in huge flocks and - being geese - making a terrific noise about it!  I've put another shot of them in extras and also something I've never noticed before - mares tails just beginning their rather unloved life.

So there we are, that's me and now we've just about reached the weekend - have a great one, all  xx
