A Lily By Any Other Name...

The African Lilies, Dietes iridiodes, are blooming. Each morning Fletcher and I pass a neighbor's yard where we are treated to at least a few of these beauties, dozens when they really get to blooming! They're also known as Fortnight Lilies, Wild Iris or Cape Iris. They're native to Eastern and Southern Africa and are ridiculously easy to grow.  m
