The cloudscapes in between the walls of rain have been pretty fascinating.

There's been what looks to be a pregnant hummingbird hanging out on the balcony today.  Twice when we've stepped out to change the nectar feeder she comes out from the part of the balcony where the lemon shrub (not yet a tree) which is full of blossoms and the various succulents are all in pots together.  Not really nest building sites I would have thought but I'm no expert.  Perhaps she's just hanging out to preserve energy in these storms.  She's like a fluffy ball.  I hope she's doing ok and we're providing what she needs.
