Rock and hop

Today was the beginning of the huge fundraiser for The Hospice called the Rock and Hop. There are 1000 classic cars entered. Tonight my friends who are here for the weekend and I went down for the drive through the streets. It was truly amazing seeing all these well polished vehicles from all over the country being paraded with much tooting of horns etc
After this we went down to the wharf to see a big cruise ship that has been here all day. I have put a pic of it amongst the extras
I had done roast chicken for the evening meal but we never got seated til 8pm
Big weekend ahead
Last year this event made 175 thousand for Hospice and brings heaps of joy to the whole area as all the big cruises the cars do people line the streets at All the towns they pass through and see the cars at no cost
