Snake's Head Fritillary

I waited all day for word from the hospital about the next stage for dad. So we stayed at home just in case we were asked to go in.  I planted up some blueberries and put a few wildflower plug plants in the grassy area where I'm cultivating a meadow. And this is one of them. I'm hoping it's sheltered enough to survive the cold weather we're going to get over the next few days. 

This afternoon I got a call from the palliative care team who said that they were satisfied that dad wasn't needing their support at this moment.  So the referral wasn't necessary. I'm shaking my head at why the doctors thought so only yesterday....

We finished off the day with a walk from the house.
