British Museum

In London for an opera trip - Il Trovatore, great music, confusing staging - and during the day, dodging hail showers I went to the British Museum. Spent a lovely few hours there, went in the “back door” and the queue was tiny. I visited Korean and Chinese porcelain, some rooms about Ur, Assyria and Babylonia, Sutton Hoo and the Lewis chessmen amongst others. My blip is through a window looking down on the lovely courtyard.
