Down By The Aspens

An early visit from Mr & Mrs Mallard, enjoying the sunshine down at the end of the inlet by the aspen trees. No sign of the prairie plants starting yet, so cover was at a minimum. I would love a 600mm for the reach, but I wouldn't welcome the weight. I keep thinking about a hide, to see if I can get closer. Aside from the mallards, there were a pair of Canada geese. Not so welcome.
