Card factory...
Followed by a stitch n bitch! lol
Best buddy Agnes came for lunch (brought by her from the local deli. Result! :-) but before she arrived I spent a little time in the studio finishing off some cards I started making the other day.
Whilst I am recovering and not able to spend large amounts of time on one painting, these little card designs are proving to be a good use of time as they help alleviate my painting cravings and leave me with a useable product at the end.
After lunch Agnes and I spent the afternoon chatting and putting the world to rights whilst we crocheted, she on her next hexi cardigan, and me on my niece Jen's throw. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I am so glad I introduced her to this time stealer :-)
Knowing Agnes was coming up today I applied myself to finding a cottage for our annual pre-christmas break with her and Adrian. We all fancy Northumberland again and to my surprise I found five cottages that fitted the bill. There was a front runner though, in Beadnell. Thankfully Agnes also thought it was fab and after getting Adrian's approval too, D booked it and now we're back on track for our pre-Christmas break. Really looking forward to it.
Agnes left just after 5.30pm, we had spaghetti carbonara for dinner and now I am thinking of an early night with my book or a cuppa and some uncomplicated tv
Decisions, decisions :-)
