Hailstones & Sunshine

Perhaps a typical spring day? The weather was a mixed bag of showers, sunshine and hailstones. The garden is becoming more and more awake as each day goes by. It's going to have a bit of peace for a week, from mad Jak Spaniel at least. We are off on our first holiday of the year tomorrow with our very dear friends. 

I have been packing like mad today. Packing is not easy. Clothes? Nah, I flung some in the bag, easy peasy. Which set of pencils do I take? Should I take all my art paper? What about my botanical art books? It's a terrible dilemma.
