lus a' chrom-chinn

We were talking about plant names at our u3a Gaelic group this morning/ The literal translation of lus a' chrom-chinn (the Gaelic for daffodil) is plant of the bent head.

I spotted these daffodils and their bent heads on a walk up to Kinnaird (ceann aird or high end or head) this afternoon for a planning meeting for out local walking group.

In between times I went to the library, returned one book, took out another and resolved an issue where a book I had returned had been put back in the shelf without being checked in and so was showing on my record as being overdue.
