I'd forgotten about the little patches of White Violets that grow down by the river, so was really pleased to see some flowering.   I've got the dark Violets and they are plentiful and beautiful too, but the white ones are rather special.
It was fine for our walk this morning, but we've had showers of rain for most of the afternoon and it's been extremely cold.
