Janet pulled these delicious stalks, and by chance I had cleared the quartz worktop in the kitchen to make a space while I re-fitted the window blinds. It made a perfect bright surface on which to present them.

More parish council work... honestly I don't think I worked as much when I was being paid! (Oi, I hear you nodding, stoppit). Still, what else am I going to do with my time. Oh yes, the butterfly survey begins shortly... lol.
