Balls
M and I tried out the ‘Health Kiosk’ at our GP Practice this morning. It involved completing a health questionnaire on a computer screen which was connected to weighing scales (incorporating a height bar) and a blood pressure machine where one has to insert one’s arm into a sleeve which takes a reading (we had to do that bit 3 times). Then all the information is collated and sent to the GP. Sounds good in theory but we had to exert so much energy battling with the chair and the blood pressure machine to get into the right position that I’m sure it put our blood pressure up! Hey ho.
We went to Fakenham this afternoon to take my stepmother’s old Singer sewing machine into the auction house there. We stopped to buy petrol and I spotted a stand of brightly coloured balls outside the shop, thought they might do as an ‘abstract Thursday’ blip.
