A Crane fly and Two Hills Again
I noticed this morning this Cranefly which had attached itself to the outside wall.
Many thanks for the comments, stars and heart for yesterday's blip. The church on the hill is very nice and worth the climb to have a look inside. Gibbet hill from where my blip photo was taken is very different. It is a lot higher than the hill with the church and despite the impressive views the top feels very lonely. The history connected with Gibbet Hill is very grim. Where once stood a gibbet there is now a trig point (picture included from yesterday as an extra today). High places with a trig point usually attract people but here there is little evidence of the impact of walkers boots.
