Waiting to open

It's not as warm today. 
Channelside walk and Tesco

Had a wander round the garden with my Macro lens for this week's prompt.
 Bought this lens in lockdown . It was expensive but had rave reviews but I don't use it much.  I thought it would be easier to use Focusing is difficult. But this week's challenge is forcing me to use it.

I had it on the tripod and when I finished went to release it ( with my hand underneath the camera ) Not sure what happened but the camera shot up  rather than down onto my hand and it fell onto the concrete. 
Loud scream!
Apart from a hairline crack on the end of the lens it is ok. 
Phew
Did a few photos indoors of the feather just to check.
