Ocular Demonstration Is Credulity

On This Day In History
1781: Sir William Herschel discovers Uranus

Quote Of The Day
"We see it (Neptune) as Columbus saw America from the coast of Spain. Its movements have been felt, trembling along the far-reaching line of our analysis with a certainty hardly inferior to that of ocular demonstration."
(Sir William Herschel)

Just as the peturbations wrought upon Uranus led to the discovery of Neptune, perhaps one day the peturbations wrought upon the small icy objects and dwarf planets within the Kuiper Belt will lead to the discovery of the hypothetical Planet 9, or Planet X. If astronomers do discover, I will have to add another stone to my bracelet.

Stitch that, Thanos!
